The challenge that the country faces due to the need for new jobs and greater development in various key sectors for the country came together in the signing of a public-private agreement in favor of national development with a vision of social responsibility and inclusion, by the federal government and business associations.
Carlos Salazar Lomelín, president of the France Mobile Number List Business Coordinating Council (CCE), indicated that this business organization together with the Federation committed to work to eliminate poverty in six years, end corruption and generate the economic and social development that the nation requires. maintaining a growth of 4% in economic indicators.
However, he clarified that the investments required should not deviate from the objective that Mexico requires today, which is to forget the “obsession with macroeconomic development” and instead focus on an inclusive economy with a social vision.
He explained the above when signing the agreement between the federal government and the CCE to promote investment and inclusive development.
This agreement seeks to put investment in the country's priorities and will have two mechanisms as guiding axes, which are promotion of employment and economic growth.
He indicated that President López Obrador will be in charge of prioritizing and evaluating the projects, in order to establish their execution with monitoring metrics and avoid all types of corruption actions.
He described it as essential to eliminate poverty by promoting investments in productive projects that are subject to sustainable development so that more Mexicans have access to education, health, among others, paying special attention to those most in need.
“ Investment and social cohesion are required, we must adequately support profitable projects in regions that have not grown, such as the south-east of the country, as well as the agribusiness and energy sectors, and promote medium and small companies,” he considered.
He pointed out that the business sector has plans to invest in more than 1,000 projects of all kinds in the next two years, covering educational sectors, health, social assistance, environment, communications infrastructure, etc.
He proposed strengthening four priority areas, which are the energy sector, where “the investment contracts signed between companies and the public sector must be fulfilled to increase the production of oil, gas and electrical energy, and promote clean and renewable energies.”
Also in transportation infrastructure, roads, ports, bridges, railways and airports that improve the connection between the regions.
The third is social investment, in education, health, water and sanitation to achieve inclusive development and finally commit to the development of the south-east in energy, services, agroindustry as well as the integration of productive chains.
